Bespoke Conservatory

Blakely Interiors was commissioned to design a bespoke conservatory for a clients home. The goal was to create a bright, comfortable space that maximised natural light while ensuring privacy and featuring elegant and functional furnishings.

Conservatory Design Northern Ireland

Objectives

The objective of this task is to create a cosy and stylish seating area by incorporating a custom-shaped sofa and a single armchair, both adorned with matching pillows to ensure ample and comfortable seating.

To balance natural light with privacy, they used voile curtains that gently filter sunlight while maintaining an intimate atmosphere.

The floor space was made cohesive and inviting with a bespoke rug, complemented by a modern table that added elegance and functionality to the overall look of the conservatory.

Design and Planning

We began with a detailed consultation to understand the client’s preferences, style, and functional requirements for the conservatory. The design focused on creating a harmonious blend of comfort, privacy, and aesthetic appeal.

Key design features included:

L-shaped sofa and Single Armchair: A custom-designed L-shaped sofa and a matching armchair, both upholstered in high-quality fabric with coordinating pillows for added comfort and style.

Voile Curtains: Soft, sheer voile curtains were chosen to allow natural light to flood the space while ensuring privacy from the outside.

Bespoke Rug and Modern Table: A custom rug was designed to anchor the seating area, and a modern, elegant table was selected to complement the overall decor.

Execution

Our team meticulously executed the design plan, ensuring every detail was crafted to perfection.

The installation process included:

Furniture Selection and Arrangement: The L-shaped sofa and single armchair were custom-built to fit the space perfectly, ensuring maximum comfort and aesthetic appeal. Matching pillows were added to enhance the cosy feel.

Curtain Installation: Voile curtains were expertly installed to provide soft, diffused light and maintain privacy. The curtains were tailored to fit the conservatory windows precisely.

Flooring and Rug Placement: A bespoke rug was crafted to match the colour scheme and style of the conservatory. It was placed to define the seating area and add warmth to the space.

Table Selection and Placement: A beautiful, modern table was carefully chosen to complement the overall design. It was placed on the bespoke rug, serving as a functional centrepiece for the conservatory.

Result

The finished conservatory exceeded the clients’ expectations. The L-shaped sofa and single armchair provided a comfortable and stylish seating area, enhanced by the matching pillows. The voile curtains allowed natural light to fill the space while ensuring privacy, creating a bright yet intimate atmosphere.

The bespoke rug and modern table completed the look, adding a touch of elegance and cohesion to the conservatory.

We successfully transformed this conservatory into a bright, comfortable, and stylish space that perfectly suits the client’s needs.

By focusing on bespoke furniture, effective use of natural light, and cohesive design elements, the team created a functional and beautiful conservatory that enhances the clients’ homes.

This project highlights Blakely Interiors’ dedication to quality and client satisfaction, reinforcing their reputation as leaders in bespoke interior design.
